I was thinking about Justice Kennedy’s concern with the lack of experience with having children raised by gay couples. It didn’t take hundreds of years for Newton’s theories explaining the paths of the planets to be taken as true, and Eistein’s special theory of relativity was accepted in the same decade in which it was proposed. There certainly is ample evidence to show that children are robust creatures quite able to adjust to their environments, including having same sex parents. Sometime I wonder about Associate Justice Kennedy. he bizarrely accepted a claim that women having abortions have long term mental problems.
