Unprofessional and unethical conduct does not equate with zealous advocacy or brilliant legal skills. Engaging in such conduct merely confirms that the attorney is an unprincipled jerk.

Lawyers who do that once should be starnly reprimanded. A second offense should be instant and permanent disbarment (or whatever the noun form of “disbarred” is).
