So what would the basis of the lawsuit be? That the National Guard’s activities violate posse comitatus? I can’t imagine any other grounds.

Do you suppose there’s a court that would buy it? Like, maybe one whose name starts with “9”?

I don’t see why we couldn’t move on Scott A.’s suggestion. We need to see what assets Mexico has here in the U.S. that could be seized.

I don’t guess it’s occurred to anyone in Mexico that the best way to help their people would be to improve conditions at home. For all of Fox’s blathering about illegal immigration I have yet to here him make any suggestions for the Mexican Government to help the people. He seems to think it’s our government’s responsibility to look after them.

If Mexico files lawsuits against the U.S. for actions taken within our own borders, that should open them up to lawsuits from agencies throughout the U.S. suing them for re-imbursement of the treatment and costs of detatiing and returning ILLEGAL aliens. While I know that legally that could not happen, I do feel that is what should be allowed in our courts.
