I am fully aware of a lady & her children who had to endure the embarrassment of viewing her ‘then- husband’ and the woman he was committing adultry with on a well known American TV show last year. Her neighbours taped the episode ‘just for her’incase she missed it. She was serioulsy traumatized emotionally.
This show also profiled the very happy business owner of the well known internet dating service for married persons wanting a relationship with someone other than their spouse. The ‘then – husband’ not only strutted his philosophy that he had now met his ‘soul mate’ this way (despite his marriage of 26 years), he hailed the agency as an avenue for all unhappy couples to explore.
When high powered leaders make rules that uphold the evil actions of transgressors like this one, I am afraid for the children of today.
Being left behind is painful enough. To have one’s life flaunted as a disposable event across a TV screen is downright wrong. To have this type of behaviour unrecognized in the courts, is unconscionable.
Is there no shame anymore? I hope that Janice Tibbets or someone from the Vancouver Sun can help me in my quest for justice.
