I was a defense lawyer in upstate New York a few years back, and we used to laugh at Shapiro's advertisements. I remember one pre-trial conference where Shapiro's ads came up (we were shooting the breeze before getting down to business). The trial judge made fun of the commercials, and observed that Shapiro always settles his cases before trial ("he's never set one foot in MY courtroom").

Just goes to show the difference between media portrayals and the courtroom reality.
