After many years of follow up at love canal, there was no evidence of anybody being hurt at all. The problem there was poor the esitmations of exposure.

The current hysteria is with the tiny amount of “lead” in paint on toys. The word “lead” is equated with “danger”, but only relatively high exosures to lead can cause a problem. A trace of lead in one or two of a child’s toys is nothing to worry about. For decades children played with lead toy soldiers without any problems.
