Unfortunately, it does not work for automobiles, teenagers or spouses.

Also, as a test, I just subscribed using the built-in feed subscription feature in IE7 and Firefox Live Bookmarks, the feeds are up to date on both of those.

I use google as my reader so it sounds like more than a Bloglines issue.
