I forgot to add, I viewed Dozier’s website’s raw HTML code *and* linked to his website (all without prior permission!). I am now holed up in my office, cowering under the desk, awaiting the inevitable wrath that is to rain down on me in the form of mighty hand of the Dozier law firm.

Have any of these websites gone after Dozier for tortious interference – especially considering all his threats to their ISPs? Have the threatened ISPs done likewise, considering the Dozier threats to their upstreams and clients?

What I find most interesting about Dozier is that he is a lawyer. acting on his own behalf, not a hired gun. That means that he presumably believes in the dubious interpretations of IP law that underlie his claims yet is aware of how marginal they are. Leaving aside the issue of how a lawyer would arrive at such questionable interpretations of the law, I would think that he would be aware that he is publicizing the fact that if you want solid, mainstream advice or representation on IP law, you’d better not hire him.
