Just for the sake of follow-up, the DMCA takedown notice to Hosting Services Inc seems to work. Our stuff has been uncopied less than 48 hours after notice.

Of course, I’m still going to ask for statutory damages. Got to pay off those school loans somehow.

for some reason I can't post comments at simplejustice, but USAlaw.com's got our stuff too. Has anyone bothered to send a DMCA takedown to USLAW.COM's ISP? Detailed DNS info is here. Their host is Hosting Services Inc in Chicago. Their DMCA takedown policy is standard; you can see their terms here. I have a final exam in trademarks tomorrow. If the site isn't down by the end of the day, I'm going to go all section 512 on their asses. If not, why not?
