With the press embargo on the AAJ convention (formerly known as the "trial lawyers' convention") I wonder how proper it is for such important legislators as Nancy Pelosi to speak confidentially like that to the plaintiff lawyers attending the AAJ convention. I for one would very much like to hear just what Nancy Pelosi and her fellow legislators had to say to all those plaintiff lawyers attending the AAJ convention. I wonder would Ms. Pelosi and her fellow legislators be willing to release the text of their speeches to the press (or if their speaking contracts with the convention prohibits it )? And the other thing I am wondering is: how much have the plaintiff lawyers paid those legislators to speak at their convention? Perhaps someone can enlighten us on that in these comments.
