While the defections were bad for southerm sports fans (the ACC diluted itself from the dominant basketball conference to a mere top tier conference, and hasn’t gained any prominence in football), that was hardly Blumenthal’s business.

Yet he has no prominent verdicts against the insurance companies that dominate Connecticut’s economy. Why is that?
