In the 90’s, it was discovered that skunks were getting their heads stuck in the yogurt containers after rifling through people’s trash and and then suffocating. After that tidbit made the news (and to the dismay of a lot of people with a skunk problem looking for empty yogurt containers), dannon redesigned their packaging.
