On January 25, 1998, the DHC suspended the license of attorney John T. Orcutt of Raleigh for one year but stayed his suspension for three years on various conditions. Orcutt was suspended for: (1) repeatedly allowing his non-lawyer employees to give legal advice to clients, after being previously disciplined for the same conduct, and (2) using numerous misleading advertisements, after being put on notice that the same or similar advertisements were misleading.

Evidently this ad passes muster with the Bar. Tackiness isn’t a disciplinary offense.
