So, were ‘loser pays’ to be in effect and this guy loses his per se suit, the defendants could collect what, exactly? Garnish his prison wages?

Clearly, the defendants in this case should have shot him dead. FL law likely would have accepted almost any excuse along the lines of ‘feared for our lives’.

It will cost the good citizens a fortune to defend themselves from this frivolous litigation by a career criminal pro-se incarcerated felon.

But how is this any different from frivolous litigation by the lawyer industry in $3000 silk suits and tasseled loafers?
