While I sympathize with locking her up and throwing away the key, had the penalty been anything like that, she would still be insisting that she was raped on her deathbed.

Besides, this way she can be out in time for Valentine’s Day.

She should be given the same sentence her victim would have got.
Something like 10 years and a lifetime on a sex offenders’ registry, with angry mobs demanding she be denied permission to live there whereever she wants to buy or rent a house.

Seems fair. If the guy had been found guilty he would have spent decades in prison and spent the rest of his life on a list that would make people spit at him as he passed by.

I’m sure with good behavior she’ll be out in six months.
