					<description><![CDATA[It&#039;s ironic that John Walker, the federal judge who struck down Proposition 8, had his confirmation delayed by gay rights groups who objected to his representation of the U.S. Olympic Committee in its trademark suit against the Gay Olympic Games (now the Gay Games).  They also were the ones at the time who let the mainstream media in the Bay Area know that Walker was gay.

The HRC&#039;s views are clearly dependent upon whose ox is being gored.]]></description>
