					<description><![CDATA[The other day there was a story posted here about why Swiss skiers and sledders seldom sue, with the question asked why they don&#039;t. This current story provides a good contrast to that. I think the difference is that the Swiss appear to still believe in personal responsibility. In America, on the other hand, there are large numbers of people who have outsourced their sense of responsibility to everyone around them - whose attitude is &quot;I am not responsible for my actions; everyone else around me is responsible for looking out for my safety&quot;. It&#039;s pretty obvious which attitude will lead to a flood of lawsuits.]]></description>
