I totally agree. If I were to lose my son, I would be devastated.

However, I am raising him the same way my parents raised me. Granted, he’s not even a teenager, but I will keep tabs on him, I willfind out where he’s going and who he’s with. I will expect calls from him when he goes out/or if he’s running late.

My parents did the above for me and I made sure I did nothing to betray their trust. The one time I did, (Not calling and spent the night at a friend’s house) I got grounded for three months. Never did that again.

Then again, I’m just old fashioned when it comes to parenting.

If their child had been arrested on drug charges, and raped or murdered in prison, would they be suing the venue for overzealous enforcement?
