Maybe the team voted to have it that way, maybe it was their choice. The football team at a resort, did the players pay, did they raise the money so they could go to the resort? It sounds to me like all this law does is take choice and responsibility away from students and let them know that the government knows best.

The hypothesis was dubious to begin with, but it is now absolutely clear that interest drove funding, not the other way around. A rational society would repeal Title IX, as was done with the foolish prohibition amendment.
