I have heard of silk stocking firms, but white shoe firms is a new one for me. I always associated white shoes with fat middle aged lawyers who hung around bars and made their money on kick-backs from referrals. Being from the Midwest, I am the age that I associate white bucks with Pat Boone. Pat was not cool. I do not know much about Yale. I have friends who went to Yale Law School, and some of them are not total assholes.
