2)  You can change the water every week or so.  Most bird lovers will change it every other day, however.  Or.... 
3)  As Bill H noted, get an small pump.  If you don&#039;t want to deal with the electricity, get a small solar pump or a solar water &quot;wiggler.&quot;]]></description>
