					<description><![CDATA[I think you are correct about the solid advantages of the Electoral College over a national popular vote system.

However, I don&#039;t agree that the impending storm will persuade naysayers that the electoral college has solid advantages.  I think those naysayers will reject the very notion of connecting the storm with the Electoral College.

(And if there happen to be any naysayers who believe it&#039;s a better idea to abandon representative government and instead subject each bit of legislation to a vote of the entire population -  it won&#039;t persuade them, either.)]]></description>
