					<description><![CDATA[I was expecting the link to be more outrageous, but the fact that we&#039;re deporting &lt;em&gt;legal&lt;/em&gt; immigrants with green cards after nothing more serious than a traffic offense gave me pause, as a green-card holder going through naturalization myself. The assertion that the $60,000 a year cost of detaining someone would pay for a lawyer made me choke on my coffee though.]]></description>
