That organizations like the ACLU had first and fifth amendment rights was well established long before Citizens United. The ACLU would not be able to sue the NSA if the People&#039;s Rights Amendment passes. But Citizens United was about the scope of corporations first amendment rights, not about whether they should exist. Whichever way Citizens United had come out, the NSA&#039;s lawsuit would not have been impacted.]]></description>
