Nobody is going to go around and check. Even Governor Brown knows that the millions of aliens here move about too much to track. But, if ever someone who owns a gun can be charged with this, it makes the plea bargaining so much less of a hassle for the state. He’s just offered to spend $315 million to add thousands of beds to the system. No wonder the prison guards love this guy.
