Our HR rep came up to me and told me that I could not be having this discussion on company property. I told her that I hadn’t said anything, that I was just listening to the engineer. It didn’t matter, I couldn’t even just listen to him. She didn’t say anything to the engineer, just to me. The engineer was Black.
