On a daily basis, federal judges act in am arbitrary and capricious manner. This sort of lawlessness (and examples abound) is tolerated by the Brotherhood of the Robe (see, e.g., Manuel Real). Add into the mix ridiculous decisions, and why shouldn’t a free society fight back? The Judiciary has gotten out of its box–it cannot complain when others decide to fight fire with fire.
