Kind of Senator Whitehouse to make the decision of who to vote against so simple. Unlikely that any of his competition will make such a glorious effort to infringe the liberties so many have died for, and for which our country is justly recognized.

A special prosecutor could be appointed to press charges that Sen Sheldon Whitehouse committed perjury when he took the oath to support the Constitution (including the Bill of Rights) as a US Senator.

He is a nasty bit of work. When he was first elected in 2007, he called for Bush administration officials to be put on trial. ( At the time, I likened him to fictional baddie Sen Fred Van Ackerman in Allan Drury’s “Advise and Consent”.)
