Back when this first blew up, I tried to find the names because I wanted to see who was on it. I couldn't find the list anywhere. Eventually I found out that the names weren't "released", the Arizona Daily Star requested the names from police records (under a public records transparency law.) The police redacted the officer names because under the law they were under active investigation, which is a legal exception carved out due to unions. I was never able to get the names, the paper wouldn't release them to me, and the cost for getting the records from the police was exorbitant (around 25 cents a page IIRC, and there was about 300 pages.)
