The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.”

So walking by a law officer is a reasonable reason for them to search you? I am glad I live in a state that does not support such actions.

NYC has the lowest homicide rate of any large US city, as outlaws find it prudent to leave their guns at home (and those with outstanding arrest warrants try very hard to avoid attracting the attention of policemen).

But is the country ready for a national stop-and-frisk policy?
