Generally, no matter how many defendants there are, there can only be one deposition of the Plaintiff.  I don&#039;t know about this case, but where I practice there are several orders applicable to asbestos cases that are pretty detailed as to how discovery occurs in asbestos cases.  They are basically designed to make the plaintiff identify their actual exposure and avoid duplicate discovery from the defendants.]]></description>

Is there not some diminishing return for the plaintiff&#039;s team from naming so many defendants.  Can so many defendants bury the plaintiff with processes?  If the plaintiff had to give 199 depositions that could keep him and his legal team occupied and spending money for quite a while.]]></description>
