Bush officials, Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse has been a leading Congressional advocate of political persecutions. Instead of “D-RI”, it might be more fitting to label him “D-GULag”.

He sometimes reminds me of the character Fred Van Ackerman in Allen Drury’s “Advise and Consent.”
