					<description><![CDATA[I’m sure that the ACLU will agree that if it sees no need to file amicus briefs in support of constitutional rights, when they think the defendant can pay his own way, I see no need to contribute to its efforts as a well-heeled supporter of civil rights when they’re a bunch of lawyers who are paid so much they can afford the occasional pro bono gig like me tossing a quarter to a beggar on the street.
