Anyone who states under oath that he bought oil company stock because he relied on the oil company’s public statements about climate change science (rather than the academic and government scientists that everyone else relies on for climate change science) is a perjurer.

IANAL, but I believe an attorney (even a government one) who puts a witness on the stand who he knows will commit perjury, is subject to professional sanctions.
