“A judge has dismissed the City of Chicago’s lawsuit seeking hundreds of millions of dollars from lead-based paint manufacturers, saying the city had not proven that the companies created a public nuisance.” (“Chicago’s lawsuit over lead paint dismissed”, AP/Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Oct. 8).
