UPDATE: Peter Nordberg comments and provokes a correction of the description of the order above. (The judge did not ban the vaccine; he enjoined the mandatory vaccinations, which in turn caused the Pentagon to cease vaccinating entirely.) I think Smith has the better of the argument, even though Nordberg is correct the lawyers behind the case include a 700-lawyer firm (an example of what I would call mischaracterized “pro bono” work), rather than the typical “trial lawyers” who have had an adverse effect on the availability of vaccines in the US.
