Don’t kidnap your client in an attempt to collect your legal fees from him, or recoup the bond money you advanced. Especially not if you’re going to be taking him away from his wedding celebration.   • Now if counsel posted bond for the ‘no-show’ former client, would Taylor v. Taintor, 83 U.S. (16 Wall.) 366 (1873) apply ?
