Suits over slips attributed to fallen produce in grocery aisles are routine, of course, and grapes are among the most commonly named food items. The distinctive aspect of this British case seems to be the plaintiff’s theory that the grape might have gotten stuck to his shoe while in the store and then caused his mishap later, in the parking lot.
