  • I grew up attending Baltimore City schools and rode MTA buses for my high school years. My father was hired as a street car driver for the Baltimore Transit Company, which later became the Metropolitain Transit Authority which later became the Mass Transit Administration. He worked for the bus company for over 30 years before his retirement. When dad retired, he was the head of one of the departments that administered the school pass program.

The passes that are given to students are all clearly imprinted that the card may be revoked at any time and for any cause. I saw friends lose their cards for what would no be considered “simple” infractions such as being too loud, smoking, horse play, etc.

Now these kids and some lawyer think that their illegal behaviour of beating someone should be rewarded with millions of dollars? Whoever filed this should not only be hit with monetary sanctions, they should be disbarred for being too stupid and ignorant to hold a law license.

  • A guy’s gotta get paid, right? How else would these guys make a living? Though, it’s probably not about the money. Happy Friday!!!

  • On the bright side, if they win or settle, the victim may be able to sue them to recover something for her REAL damages.
