  • We’re not going to get tort reform without addressing peer review and the way employed physicians (especially those who blow the whistle) are treated by those in suits.

    The public does not trust us. And based on my own experience in my hometown with a “malignant hosptial administraton” (something that was discussed in one of Kevin’s earlier “reader takes”) . . . involving a civil case turned criminal – where I have gotten nothing but the jurisdictional run-around for five years . . . patients have good reason not to.

    Greed rules medicine. Doctors (especially medical whistle-blowers) are pawns And right now, the powers-that-be thinks that’s good.
