  • Cognitive dissonance anyone?

The UK police have an interesting modus operandi. They let the rioting go on and then they use the ubiquitous CCTV cameras to identify and arrest the rioters. I guess nobody told them it was there job to stop the rioting in the first place instead of arresting the people who are trying to defend their property.

  • It’s the job of the police to guard their property. Shopowners, not being members of the union, are scabs.

  • The police leadership are circling the wagons. They should be standing on the wagons with nooses around their necks. They refused to allow the coppers on the street to do their jobs and arrest or disperse the “youths,” because they were careful of the Yobs’ sensitivities. They let three people be murdered and whole blocks left looking like the aftermath of The Blitz.

Once the coppers did finally deploy, they didn’t need water cannons, they didn’t need baton rounds, they didn’t even need to break the heads that so desperately needed breaking. The mobs dispersed back to their burrows with nary a whimper.

It was a leadership problem at GOLD and SILVER police command levels.
